Changing Gears

Dropped the Venser helm long ago, however I would like to come back to it eventually. For now I have to focus on school, and maybe, no, definitely work on a sculpture of Pristine Talisman.

Distractions

Well I decided to put the helmet on hold, not only due to being short on money, but also going to Magfest and the model that I printed turned out to be the wrong size. I am deciding to go for a sculpting method, but not right now, due to lack of money of course. In the meantime I've been doing some fun Minecraft Art. Here are my 2 finished pieces.

Currently working on a bigger piece that will be about 80 x 200 blocks. It will NOT be a Pokemon this time, but it is going to be insane, and ginormous. Wish me luck, and subscribe for more!

Progress Made!

Started getting into the fine details of the helmet in 3D, when I realized that I did not need an exact helmet design because I would do the fine details by hand. Anyways here is the the final rough version of the helmet in 3D.

Which was then imported, scaled, unwrapped, and organized in pepakura, now to move on to printing and testing size. yayy!

A little difficult for having only 2 reference images, but nonetheless diligent. Here is the progress of the 3D Model I'm working on. I'll keep the blog posted!!

First Project

Actually my second project, however this will be the first one posted. Nonetheless I am working on making Venser's helmet, from Magic The Gathering. I will keep posted my progress. Wish me luck!
